Author,
image consultant, artist and colorist Jennifer Robin is passionate about
color and self-expression.
Helping individuals express their unique qualities with the clothing
they choose, her book Clothe Your Spirit: Dressing For Self Expression,
pioneered the connection between the essence of the person and their
visual presentation. Published in 1988, it is still distributed nationally,
and excerpts have been syndicated worldwide.
Her
service "Clothe Your Spirit" provides color analysis, custom
make-up, wardrobe consulting, and personal shopping. She also leads
seminars and workshops for professional and social groups, offers private
instruction in color analysis and color theory, and, through her training
program, has graduated numerous professionals that now work throughout
the United States.
Jennifer
is also a painter and visual artist, painting landscape and figurative
work in brilliantly colored mixed media and pastels. Private sessions
in painting with expressive color have expanded the lives and vision
of beginning art students and experienced painters. Her make-up line
reflects her experience as both an image consultant and artist, and
specializes in custom blended and subtle colors, all applied in her
studio flooded with natural light. Lips are a particular passion, both
as subjects for paintings and in an incredible array of over 100 different
and unusual lipstick hues.
Whenever
she can, Jennifer spends time working on her next book, loosely entitled
"Growing More Beautiful", which combines her views on the
creative synergy between the self, art and beauty.
Currently
living in Petaluma, California with her husband Jerry and yellow Labrador
Retriever Katie, she spends way too much time walking on the beach and
gazing at the water that surrounds the San Francisco Bay Area. The rest
of the time she puts her vivid imagination to work on ways to create
an even more colorful world where all women find themselves beautiful.
